Enterprise AI Planner
In DevelopmentAI Use Case Modelling, Cost Visibility, and ROI Planning
A web-based planning and modelling tool designed to help organisations evaluate and operationalise AI initiatives responsibly.
Why This Matters
AI adoption in enterprise environments is not constrained by model capability - it is constrained by cost unpredictability, lack of governance, security and compliance uncertainty, and the absence of structured rollout planning. Most AI experimentation begins with enthusiasm and ends with unclear cost, governance gaps, or compliance friction. This project addresses those structural challenges rather than focusing on model novelty.
Focus Areas
The Enterprise AI Planner is a web-based tool that helps organisations model where, how, and at what cost they can deploy AI across their business.
The Problem
Most enterprises know they should be "doing AI" but lack a structured way to evaluate the opportunity. Where are the high-value use cases? Should models run locally or in the cloud? What will it actually cost? What's the realistic ROI? Without clear answers, organisations either over-invest in pilots that don't scale or under-invest and fall behind.
What It Does
The AI Planner gives technology and business leaders a practical modelling tool to work through these questions systematically:
- Use case mapping - Identify and catalogue where AI can create value across the organisation, from customer-facing applications to internal operations
- Deployment modelling - Compare local inference, cloud API, and hybrid deployment strategies for each use case, with realistic infrastructure and licensing considerations
- Cost analysis - Model the true costs of AI adoption including compute, API calls, data preparation, integration, and ongoing operations for both local and cloud-hosted models
- ROI projection - Estimate expected returns based on efficiency gains, revenue impact, and cost avoidance for each initiative
- Portfolio view - See the full AI landscape across the organisation - what's in pilot, what's in production, and what's still on the whiteboard
Two Tiers
The planner comes in two versions:
- Quick Assessment - A lightweight, no-sign-up version that helps you explore AI opportunities and get a high-level picture of potential value
- Full Planner - Sign up to access deeper modelling capabilities, save your scenarios, compare strategies, and build a business case for AI investment
Core Principles
- Value and ROI clarity before scale
- Cost transparency by default
- Practical deployment strategy over hype
- Security and auditability as first-class concerns
